Rossa PDO* Umbria Colli Assisi Spoleto Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of different variety of olives, especially moraiolo (no less than 60%), frantoio, leccino and others, that grow on the rocky terrains between the medieval towns of Assisi and Spoleto villages of Assisi and Spoleto, in Umbria.

The Umbrian “Olive groves”, stretching through the six towns of Assisi, Spello, Foligno, Trevi, Campello sul Clitunno and Spoleto, have been recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations as new site of the prestigious Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS). It is the first Italian site recognized by GIAHS.
